Our Story
Origin of Wisdom was founded in 2016 by Dr. Rain (Annie) Lim, together with co-founders Zach Ho and Cath Khoo, after decades of experience in personal development, leadership training, and entrepreneurship.
Through her work, Dr. Rain observed a common challenge across both individuals and organizations — while many programs delivered insights and motivation, few created lasting change. This led her to develop a unique, experiential training methodology designed to uncover and shift the underlying belief systems that drive behavior and results.
This approach became the foundation of Origin of Wisdom’s work and the launch of its flagship public program, SEEDS. Since then, the organization has grown into a global community with more than 2,000 graduates, with strong presence in cities such as Toronto and Kuala Lumpur.
At the core of Origin of Wisdom is the WISE facilitation methodology, a gamified and experiential approach that enables participants to gain deep personal insight through lived experience. All coaches and trainers are trained and certified through Dr. Rain’s Facilitator Development Program (FDP), ensuring consistency in delivery and a high standard of facilitation across all programs.
Today, Origin of Wisdom is recognized for designing highly customized programs for organizations. While each engagement is tailored to specific business goals and challenges, the delivery remains grounded in the same proven methodology — creating meaningful insights, strong engagement, and lasting behavioral change.

Dr. Rain Lim is a PhD-trained entrepreneur, international speaker, and transformational leadership expert with over two decades of experience in personal and organizational development. She is the founder of Origin of Wisdom and creator of the SEEDS Leadership methodology—a proven, experiential approach that uncovers and shifts the belief systems driving human behavior, performance, and results.
Her work integrates academic research, business leadership, and human development to create lasting transformation beyond traditional training. Dr. Rain has guided thousands of individuals and leaders globally, supporting measurable shifts in mindset, decision-making, and leadership effectiveness.
Prior to relocating to Canada, she successfully built and managed multiple companies across diverse industries, with her work featured on Bloomberg Television and other international media. She holds a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship, with international published research on growth companies led by founding CEOs.
An internationally sought-after speaker, Dr. Rain has shared the stage with global thought leaders including Arianna Huffington, Jack Canfield, and Lisa Nichols. She is also actively involved in mentoring entrepreneurs and contributing to leadership and innovation initiatives globally.

Zach Ho
Co-Founder, Marketing Director, Lead Trainer/Coach
Zach Ho is a corporate trainer, leadership facilitator, and co-founder of Origin of Wisdom, specializing in transforming the belief systems that drive performance, behavior, and results.
As a lead facilitator of the SEEDS Leadership and Money SEEDS programs, Zach has worked with individuals, teams, and organizations to create measurable shifts in mindset, decision-making, and leadership effectiveness. His approach combines practical business experience with deep behavioral insight, enabling leaders to move beyond surface-level strategies and address the root causes of performance challenges.
Zach is known for his direct, engaging, and results-oriented facilitation style. His work focuses on developing leaders from the inside out—aligning thinking, behavior, and action to drive sustainable growth in both people and organizations such as Public Mutual Berhad, Sen Heng Electric, Berjaya College and University, and many more.
Through Origin of Wisdom, Zach partners with organizations to elevate leadership capability, strengthen team dynamics, and build cultures grounded in ownership, accountability, and long-term performance.

Catherine Khoo is a seasoned operations and logistics professional with over 15 years of experience managing large-scale transformational programs and events. She has led operations for flagship programs such as Mega Breathworks and served as Program Operations Director for Leadership Boot Camp, as well as Logistics Supervisor for internationally recognized programs including Money & You (USA) and EOB International (USA).
With a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Staffordshire University, Catherine brings a high level of precision, structure, and operational excellence to every program she oversees. She is known for ensuring seamless execution of complex events, enabling both facilitators and participants to perform at their highest level.
At Origin of Wisdom, Catherine plays a critical role in delivering world-class program experiences through meticulous planning, coordination, and execution.
Elaine Chen
Community Director
Elaine is a coach and facilitator with over 15 years of experience in personal development and community leadership. She specializes in guiding individuals to break through limiting beliefs, build emotional resilience, and create purposeful, aligned lives.
As a certified grief educator, she brings depth and sensitivity in supporting individuals through transition and change. At Origin of Wisdom, Elaine contributes to creating safe, impactful learning environments that support meaningful and lasting transformation.
Vincent Sar
IT Director, Facilitator
Vincent Sar is an IT Director, entrepreneur, and facilitator with a strong foundation in human behavior and personal development. Since 2016, he has built and operated businesses across technology, media, and digital services.
He has co-facilitated and supported over 30 training programs, CSR initiatives, and public workshops, including SEEDS Leadership and Money SEEDS. As a WISE-certified coach, Vincent has worked with a diverse range of clients—from individuals navigating personal challenges to corporate professionals and business owners.
Vincent brings a unique blend of technical expertise and human insight, contributing to both the operational excellence and facilitation of Origin of Wisdom’s programs.
Gin Hai Peh
Senior Facilitator
Peh Gin Hai is a consultant, trainer, and facilitator specializing in leadership development, culture transformation, and human capital strategy. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Summa Cum Laude) in Mechanical Engineering & Management from McMaster University, Canada.
With extensive experience across multiple industries, Gin Hai is known for translating complex concepts into clear, actionable frameworks that drive understanding, alignment, and performance. He combines strong analytical thinking with deep people insight, enabling organizations to shift mindsets, behaviors, and culture effectively.
Gin Hai has led teams across construction and business sectors, including scaling a swim coaching organization to over 100 staff. As a certified Origin of Wisdom facilitator and NLP Practitioner, he focuses on uncovering and transforming the belief systems that drive results in leadership, communication, and organizational performance.
He has worked with leading organizations including Canon Malaysia, Petronas Gas, Cargill, Citibank, L’Oréal, and Taylor’s College, among others.
Denise Mann

Denise has been an advisor to Origin of Wisdom since 2019, leading the organization’s growth and expansion. With over 20 years of experience in business development and leadership within the Information and Communication Technology sector, she has worked across public and private sectors, supporting organizations from SMEs to enterprise level.
Known for her strong relationship-building and strategic insight, Denise brings a customer-focused approach to driving business outcomes. Her leadership supports the integration of SEEDS Leadership programs into organizations to enhance performance, culture, and long-term growth.
Brent Kobayashi
Marketing Advisor
Brent Kobayashi is a marketing advisor with over 25 years of experience supporting businesses and organizations in driving digital growth and online performance. He is the President of Toronto-based marketing firm Kobayashi + Zeitguys and has played a key role in the digital marketing space, including leading and co-leading WordCamp Toronto, a major annual conference focused on WordPress.
At Origin of Wisdom, Brent has facilitated SEEDS Leadership Mastermind sessions, supporting graduates in integrating their learning into real-world application and results.
