Founded on a simple observation: you lead from who you are.

Origin of Wisdom was founded to bring human depth into organizational development — with rigor, evidence, and results intact.

Dr. Rain Annie Lim

Ph.D. Entrepreneurship · Founder, Origin of Wisdom · Creator, SEEDS Leadership

Dr. Rain Annie Lim is the founder of Origin of Wisdom and the creator of SEEDS Leadership. She holds a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship and brings more than two decades of experience in personal and organizational development.

Her path to this work was not academic. It began with her own experience of doing everything she was told would lead to success — and finding that something essential was still missing. That question — what actually shapes how people lead, relate, and perform? — became the foundation of Origin of Wisdom.

Her conviction is simple and observable: the beliefs people carry shape the behavior they produce, and the behavior they produce shapes the organizations they build. Change the belief, and you change the organization.

Company Story

Ten years of developing leaders, teams, and cultures.

Origin of Wisdom was founded in 2016 by Dr. Rain Annie Lim, with co-founders Zach Ho and Cath Khoo. The company was created with a clear observation: most training programs deliver insights but few create lasting change. The reason is that they intervene at behavior, not at the belief beneath the behavior.

Origin of Wisdom is a Canadian-based company serving corporations, SMEs, government agencies, and educational institutions — with a strong presence in both Toronto and Kuala Lumpur, and programs delivered internationally.

In 2026, Origin of Wisdom marks its tenth year. Over that decade: 2,000+ graduates globally, programs delivered across four continents, and a track record that spans finance, healthcare, education, and entrepreneurship.
